OUR FIRM
Jack Picking Tax Service LLC has been in business since 1982 providing tax preparation and bookkeeping services to individuals and small business.
We offer personal individualized service to our clients in our office or in their homes or business when this is necessary.
Many of our clients have been with us using our services for over 20 years. Most of our new clients come to us by referral from our existing client base.
Jack’s son John and his son-in-law Alan have now joined him in the business. Both John and Alan have worked on a part-time basis over the past 15 to 20 years in the tax business. This gives us some younger blood and will provide continuity in the business going into the future.
Our firm is an Enrolled Agent firm having passed the IRS comprehensive examination which covers all aspects of tax law and the tax code. Only Enrolled Agents, CPA’s and Attorneys can represent clients before the IRS in client audits. Most tax preparers are not Enrolled Agents or CPA’s.
OUR SERVICES
Tax Return Preparation: Our firm prepares all types of income tax returns for individuals and small business and inheritance tax returns using the latest technology and software to electronically file returns.
Accounting and Bookkeeping: We will keep track of all your receipts, expenses, accounts receivable and accounts payable and prepare monthly or quarterly financial statements so that you the business owner will have current information on the success of your business.
Payroll Service: If you have employees, we can offer complete payroll record keeping and filing of all required reports.
New Business Setup: If you are starting a new business, we can help determine whether you should operate as a corporation, a limited liability company or a sole proprietor. We will file all required forms to set up your new business.
Printing: All business need some form of printed material such as stationary, business cards, business forms or envelopes. We are able to design and print material to meet your needs.
Web Site Design: Most business today uses a web site to promote their products and services. We have the capability to design your site so that it will be effective to bring new business to you.
IRS Audits: If the IRS calls for an audit of your tax returns, we can handle that for you without the need for you to be present.
